Day 1: Marrakech → Transfert to your accommodation

Our driver will meet you at the airport and you will have the rest of the day free to relax while seeing the main square, Jemaa el Fnaa, and the souks on your own.

Day 2: Marrakech Visit

You will have a wonderful guided tour of Marrakech Medina with an experienced local guide, The day before leaving Marrakech. Also, the visit includes the famous Mosque of Koutoubia, the Medina, and its souks and narrow alleys.

Explore more of Marrakech’s hidden gems and fascinating locations, such as the Saadian the Bahia Palace, Ali Ben Youssef Koranic School, and the stunning Majorelle Gardens. Return to your regular Riad in the Medina.

Day 3: Marrakech → Atlas Mountains → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley

Our 7-day Tour from Marrakech will begin around 08:30 from Marrakech to Dades Gorges, crossing the famous Tizi N’Tichka pass with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the High Atlas and Berber villages, before continuing to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, where you will have lunch in a local restaurant near the Kasbah.

Day 4: Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Merzouga

After a delicious breakfast, return to the valley to explore the amazing rock structure known as “The monkey toes” and the Kasbah of Ait Yul, a 19th-century kasbah. Then we leave the Dades valley and head towards Tinghir and the Todra gorges, passing through gorgeous scenery with old clay Berber villages overlooking the canyon.

When you get to the Todra Gorges, you’ll walk along the 300m high red cliff, where many rock climbers come to practice their sport.We’ll continue to Erfoud for lunch before driving to the beautiful dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga.

When we arrive, an experienced Camel guy will be ready for us to begin the camel ride and discover the stunning Erg-Chebbi wavy dunes. You will be welcome to relax, watch the sunset, and go sandboarding.

After that, stay in a classic Berber-style nomad tent before spending the night beneath the stars in a well-equipped desert camp. You will enjoy a fantastic meal as well as a music party around the fire.

Day 5: Explore Merzouga Region

Our 7-day journey from Marrakech continues. After a shower and breakfast at the desert camp, you’ll begin your camel walk back to the starting point to meet your driver and begin your discovery trip of the Merzouga area, including a visit to the wild lake of Merzouga, which is home to migratory bird groups such as flamingos.

Not far from the area, there’s a village where almost all of its citizens are dark-skinned people who came from Sub-Saharan Africa to experience Gnawa music and culture. We will stop in Mifis, a little empty town known for its lead mines and minerals, on our way to a nomad home.

Dinner will be offered in the hotel where you will be staying for the night.

Day 6: Merzouga → Rissani → Nkob → Ouarzazate

After breakfast in the desert, our next destination is Ouarzazate by a different road through the Atlas mountain Berber tribes of Alnif, Agdz, and Draa valley. Until the evening when we arrive at Ouarzazate. Dinner and accommodation at a nearby riad.

Day 7: Ouarzazate → High Atlas Mountains → Marrakech

On the following day, we head out of Ouarzazate in the morning to Marrakech, our last stop after a visit to the studios, traversing the High Atlas Mountains via Morocco’s highest roadway pass, Tizi N Tichka pass, which provides dramatic views of rivers, mountains, and several Berber villages nearby, and arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
